Geranylgeranyl diphosphate synthase inhibitor and proteasome inhibitor combination therapy in multiple myeloma

Cells were incubated with varying concentrations of RAM2061 and/or bortezomib. RAM2061 was added at the beginning of the 48-h incubation period. Studies were performed in which bortezomib was added 24 h after RAM2061 (sequential). Isobologram analysis was performed, and combination indices were determined. Combination indices < 1 are considered synergistic in nature
