  1. The thymus was excised from C57BL/6 mice after intraperitoneal treatments with DMSO (0.5 µL/g on Days 0–3) or sirolimus (2.5 µg/g on Days 0–3). On Day 4, the weight of the entire gland was measured and fragments of the gland were processed for measuring cellular respiration, caspase activity and GSH level as described in “Methods” section
